Niche use only: may help estrogen metabolism markers, but human evidence remains preliminary.
Calcium D-glucarate is the calcium salt of D-glucaric acid, a compound found in cruciferous vegetables and citrus fruits. In the body it can form D-glucaro-1,4-lactone, which inhibits beta-glucuronidase. That may help keep estrogens and other glucuronidated compounds excreted rather than recycled in the gut. Small human studies suggest modest changes in beta-glucuronidase activity and estrogen metabolite patterns. It is mainly considered by people focused on estrogen metabolism.

How It Works
Once ingested, calcium D-glucarate is converted to D-glucaro-1,4-lactone, an inhibitor of beta-glucuronidase. Lower beta-glucuronidase can reduce deconjugation of glucuronidated hormones in the intestine and may reduce enterohepatic recycling.
